Effective immediately, West Monroe’s Managed Services practice will provide a streamlined and bundled service that will provide Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting services and managed services offerings under one umbrella. Under this program, authorized solution providers manage, service, support, and bill AWS accounts for customers.
We see AWS as a clear leader in cloud native services, and joining the AWS Solution Provider Program will allow us to provide additional value to our clients, while expanding our Managed Services offerings deeper into the AWS ecosystem,” said Mark Nelson, senior director and practice lead of West Monroe’s Managed Services practice.
Joining the program further enhances West Monroe’s Managed Services offering for cloud, which includes planning and migration, support and managed services, cloud cost management, and security and compliance oversight. Now, clients can receive a single monthly billing statement that includes both technology and services, with potential for cost reductions in the future.
“With the proliferation of vendors in the cloud space, managing multiple technologies to ensure an efficient and cost-effective environment can be a significant operational burden,” said Corey Dean, vice president of operations for West Monroe’s Managed Services. “By joining the AWS Solution Provider Program, we’re giving organizations a single partner to manage, a single bill to pay. Our existing clients are asking us for this, and we’re seeing additional demand in the broader market.”
The AWS Solution Provider Program is designed for systems integrators, managed service providers, value-added resellers, and public sector APN Partner Network Partners to resell AWS Services to end customers as part of their differentiated solution. The AWS Solution Provider Program provides authorized solution providers a tiered discount structure based on partners’ technical capabilities and success in driving new business, has flexible contracting options to meet the unique needs of end customers, and provides partners multiple AWS Support models that align to a partner’s AWS practice.
West Monroe’s Managed Services team includes more than 125 professionals—deep technology experts who work with clients to run systems and processes at peak performance. The practice delivers strategic advice and operational support to organizations areas that include infrastructure and cloud management, security management, data management, and application management, as well as service desk solutions.
