LinkedIn

David has a track record for creating business value, and his formula for doing so is simple: He really gets to know his clients and their businesses. He’s a trusted mentor, coach, and advisor to leadership teams of Fortune 500 organizations and global enterprises—and is proud to have had many repeat clients and former-colleagues-turned-clients during his career.

To every new challenge, David brings more than two decade of experience building effective teams and driving operational excellence. He is well-versed in identifying project requirements, developing practical plans, and assembling the right multidisciplinary team for the challenge at hand. His diverse business experience includes M&A, HR and people operations, talent and performance management, strategy, and digital transformation. He has a particular passion for data and technology enablement and a deep understanding of how those translate to tangible financial value.

David earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California. He holds certifications and badges from Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, and related platforms.

What makes David different

David came to the Bay Area in 1981 and never left. He and his family appreciate that they can be at the coast or in the snow within a few hours and that the weather is never too extreme to enjoy the outdoors.

He has passion for many types of sports, from martial arts—he’s earned black belts in both Taekwondo and Hapkido—to road-racing motorcycles. These days, though, you’re more likely to find him road cycling. He’s a terrible swimmer who has been rescued a few times.

Where David makes an impact

David chaired The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI) of Silicon Valley Chapter for 10 years. He’s also a co-organizer for DataCouncil.ai, which hosts events for engineers and data scientists to present their projects for the benefit of the data community.

He attributes his success to those who gave him time, advice, and proper mentorship—and never misses an opportunity to pay that forward. He also supports various organizations, from Veterans organizations and local food banks to the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Human Trafficking.
