West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that Jeff Liter has joined the firm as a senior principal in its Mergers & Acquisitions practice, based in Minneapolis. He has more than 32 years of experience in operations, integration and restructuring, strategy, and profit and loss management.
Liter has personally guided transactions ranging from $4 million to $2.6 billion in size, as well as integration and restructuring efforts that have produced multiple millions of dollars in savings. His transaction and integration experience spans the life sciences, telecommunications, and other industries, as well as global business interests in Europe, China, and other areas of the world. He also has extensive experience in strategic planning and bringing new products to market. He becomes part a West Monroe team that has helped deliver more than 600 transactions and 75 carve-outs for 140 strategic and financial buyers with a combined value of greater than $120 billion.
“Jeff Liter has an exemplary track record for leading mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures to successful completion,” said Tom Ewers, West Monroe’s Minneapolis office leader. “His leadership and strong experience in key industries, particularly life sciences, offer an outstanding fit with our clients’ strategies and a valuable complement both for our Minneapolis team and our M&A team across the continent.”
Liter joins West Monroe from Progenitor Cell Therapy, a $20 million adult stem cell contract manufacturer for which he was chief operating officer. “Transactions continue to be a key strategy for growth and advantage in today’s marketplace, but delivering the value expected requires navigating complex operations and issues—all the way through the process,” said Liter. “West Monroe has distinguished itself as a firm that is able to support organizations from deal evaluation and integration strategy to execution and beyond. I am eager to lend my skills and experience in this capacity.”
