West Monroe Partners, a North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced that Ken Siegman has joined the firm as a director in the firm’s Banking practice.
An accomplished financial services executive, Siegman has a proven track record for success in directing programs that allocate capital, generate investment returns, improve operations, and maintain industry leadership. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, planning, and integration activities.
Siegman joined West Monroe from Cast Management Consultants, where he was a director specializing in payments, operations, treasury management, organizational effectiveness, and reduction of non-earning assets for top-20 banking clients. Most recently he led a multi-year engagement integrating the Treasury Management business in a top 5 bank merger.
“Ken Siegman is an innovator and strategist whose broad financial services experience and cross-functional skills represent an important addition to our team and our presence on the West Coast and a valuable asset to our clients, who are facing unprecedented challenges today,” said Tom Bolger, managing director and founder of West Monroe’s Seattle office. “We are excited to be able add an executive and experienced consultant of Ken’s caliber.”
Previously Ken was a senior manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy & Operations practice where his work included payment system realignment, operations procedures and enterprise cost-reduction priorities. Prior to Deloitte Consulting he was a managing principal for Carreker Corporation, where he established an international consulting practice specializing in integration, right-sizing/consolidation, process optimization, and operating expense reduction. Earlier in his career Siegman was a senior vice president of First Interstate Bancorp (now Wells Fargo); and senior vice president of Texas American Bancshares, Inc. (now JP Morgan Chase). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Minnesota. He also is a graduate of the Bank Management Executive Program of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
“I am very impressed with West Monroe Partners’ strength and credentials in the financial services arena and the firm’s capabilities for helping clients transform their operations to succeed in a fundamentally different marketplace,” said Siegman. “I look forward to the opportunity to help build on this strength.”
