Strong core managed services plus specialized capabilities produce 67-percent growth during 2012.
West Monroe Partners today announced that it is among the top 100 firms recognized both in North America and globally in Nine Lives Media’s MSPmentor© 2013 Edition rankings of top managed services providers (MSPs). West Monroe ranked 76th on the MSPmentor 200—North American Edition list, up from 104th the previous year. Globally, the firm ranked 97th in the MSPmentor© 501 report.
The MSPmentor© rankings are based on data from MSPmentor’s global online survey, conducted between October and December 2012. The MSPmentor rankings recognize top managed service providers based on a range of metrics, including annual recurring revenue, total devices managed, revenue per employee, growth rates, and more. More than 1,100 companies participated in the 2012 survey.
Since West Monroe Partners’ inception in 2002, it has provided managed services for organizations across a variety of industries, delivering both routine and proactive help desk, infrastructure management, application management and development, and data management and reporting services, as well as IT service management capabilities. The firm utilizes an array of state-of-the-art monitoring and maintenance tools as part of its managed services offering. Its revenues from managed services increased 67 percent during 2012
“Our continued strong growth and reputation in managed services reflects the effort we put into delivering quality service as well as our clients’ confidence in and reliance on our capabilities,” said Mark Nelson, Managed Services Practice Lead. “By taking our core service desk and infrastructure management offerings and expanding them in areas such as SharePoint, application management, data management and analytics, software asset management, and disaster recovery services, we are delivering more specialized services and advice that helps our clients keep their businesses running efficiently.”
“Nine Lives Media and MSPmentor congratulate West Monroe Partners for its leadership position, both in North America and globally,” said Amy Katz, president of Nine Lives Media, a division of Penton Media. “In the fiercely competitive IT services market, these MSPs represent the best of the best.”
“We expanded our 2013 global report from 100 companies to 501 companies worldwide, reflecting the now-mainstream nature of managed services and demand for more detailed information about market size, competitive positioning, and overall industry performance,” said Joe Panettieri, editorial director of Nine Lives Media. “MSPs on this year’s global list generated annual recurring revenues of US$2.5 billion, up 25 percent from 2011, and those MSPs are now managing 4.8 million desktop and mobile devices for customers, up 20 percent from 2011.”
