AmeriCorps seeking summer team members

AmeriCorps seeking summer team members

SEE (Synergy, Education and Environment) West Monroe AmeriCorps is seeking summer team members.

Members in West Monroe provide afterschool and summer enrichment, helping students reach their full potential. They also provide other service to the community via neighborhood clean ups, disaster related services, community outreach and much more.

AmeriCorps is about finding a way for every individual to #GetThingsDone through service. Members develop a deeper connection with their community and the families served, while earning an education award for college. Members are also eligible to earn a living stipend while they serve.

Those 18 years old and up are encouraged to make a difference in their community. Applications for the summer team are available on the AmeriCorps page on the City of West Monroe website. For information, call Denise Calhoun at (318) 396-2600.
