West Monroe earned a spot on the Great Place to Work®/FORTUNE list of Best Workplaces for Parents, marking the firm’s first appearance on that list. To determine the Best Workplaces for Parents list, Great Place to Work® compared parents’ and non-parents’ responses representing more than 4,6 million employees in the US at Great Place to Work-CertifiedTM organizations. Employees responded to more than 60 survey questions anonymously rating their employers. West Monroe was ranked 26 out of 50 companies.
The award reflects West Monroe’s recent investment in updated family-friendly policies and programs – including increased parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers, flexible work arrangements, flexible time off, alternative travel, and a new backup care offering – designed to benefit all employees, not just parents.
“We started West Monroe with the purpose of creating a different type of consulting organization that puts people first. That principle has guided everything we have done since, from creating a model of 100% employee ownership to defining our mission to be about building the next generation of leaders,” said Susan Stelter, West Monroe’s chief people officer. “It has been extremely gratifying to see that initial vision come to life as an organization widely recognized for being a ‘best place to work.’“
Nationally, West Monroe Partners has been listed as a top company to work for by Consulting Magazine, Great Place to Work® Institute and FORTUNE. West Monroe was also named by Great Place to Work as a top workplace for millennials in 2019 and in 2016, 2017, and 2018 as one of the 50 best workplaces for giving back.
