MINNEAPOLIS – West Monroe Partners, a national business and technology consultancy, today announced that it has been named a 2019 Star Tribune Top 150 Workplace in Minnesota. West Monroe ranked 17th out of 50 among small companies with 50 to 149 employees in the state. Top 150 Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on a survey of employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction.
West Monroe qualified for the workplace award in its first year of eligibility. The Star Tribune will profile West Monroe and the other winners in a special section on June 16 and honored them at a luncheon on June 11.
“We are thrilled to be recognized among the top workplaces in Minnesota. This is particularly gratifying because it is based on feedback from our people and reflective of their pride in being part of this organization,” said Tom Ewers, managing director and leader of West Monroe’s Minneapolis office.
“As an organization whose mission is centered on building the next generation of leaders, the quality of our workplace is key. Our unique culture instills in all of us a strong sense of stewardship and responsibility for making this an even better place than it was when we joined.”
West Monroe’s Minneapolis office, one of nine offices nationwide, opened in 2013 and has grown to more than 50 employees in 2019. Its consulting team serves dozens of clients in the Twin Cities area and surrounding region in healthcare, consumer and industrial products, and other industries.
Like all West Monroe offices, the Minneapolis office maintains a highly participatory and collaborative culture marked by an open work environment, frequent team building events, and a strong commitment to serving the local community. The office has previously been recognized among best workplaces by Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal and Minnesota Business Magazine. Nationally, West Monroe has been recognized among top workplaces by Consulting® magazine, Great Place to Work® Institute and FORTUNE, and Crain’s, among others.
This is the 10th year that the Star Tribune, in partnership with Pennsylvania-based Energage (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), has published Minnesota’s Top Workplaces. To make the final list, a company must have 50 or more employees in Minnesota and allow Energage to conduct five-minute, 24-question surveys with its workforce. This year’s study included responses from more than 350 Minnesota public, private, and nonprofit organizations.
