West Monroe named to Vault.com’s 2020 Best Internships List

West Monroe is proud to be recognized as one of Vault.com’s 2020 Best Internships. The firm ranked 25th amongst all industries, and third in the consulting industry category. To compile the rankings, Vault surveyed more than 14,000 current and former interns from more than 130 internship programs to evaluate factors such as quality of life, culture, employment prospects, career development, diversity, and interview process. 

In addition to asking respondents to rate and review their own internship experiences for our 2020 Best Internships Rankings, Vault asked interns to rate the prestige of other employers to determine which internships are the most desirable.

The award validates West Monroe’s investment in making internships meaningful experiences with opportunities for hands-on work. Many of our interns find that, over the course of their work at West Monroe, we’ve built a mutually beneficial relationship that they want to continue in a full-time capacity—84% of our interns in 2018 converted to full-time hires. 

Our 10-week internships include dedicated career advisors to help our interns identify and pursue their passion, along with a formal review cycle meant to help them land meaningful consulting career. We also make sure our interns get to experience West Monroe culture, with organized social outings, dedicated time with leadership, and a two-day intern conference in our Chicago office. 

Nationally, West Monroe has been listed as a top company to work for by Consulting Magazine, and Great Place to Work® Institute and FORTUNE. West Monroe was also named by Great Place to Work as a top workplace for millennials.
