West Monroe Named one of Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces 2011

West Monroe, with 235 people in Chicago and more than 329 continent-wide, was one of 100 employers recognized in the November 15 special report, a collaborative effort between the Chicago Tribune and its partner, Workplace Dynamics LLC, to identify the area’s best places to work.

West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced that it has been named one of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Work Places 2011.

The report ranked West Monroe Partners among 101 small companies evaluated. Furthermore, it ranked West Monroe 9th among small firms in terms of quality of execution and 12th in terms of employee confidence in the firm’s direction. Workplace Dynamics determined overall and specific attribute rankings by surveying employees of nominated organizations.

“West Monroe Partners is honored to be recognized among Chicago’s top workplaces again this year,” said President and CEO Dean Fischer. “In our profession, the firm with the best people delivers the best service and wins in the marketplace over time. Since our inception, we have steadfastly maintained our focus on the environment and opportunities that we offer to our people. This recognition not only validates our strategy but indicates we are executing it well.”

Inclusion on the Tribune’s Top Work Places 2011 is the latest in a long list of employer accolades for West Monroe Partners, founded in Chicago in 2002 and now with offices in seven locations across North America. Over the past year, West Monroe Partners has received national recognition as an employer from Vault.com, as well as from leading business publications in three of its primary markets: Chicago, Seattle, and Columbus, Ohio.

To develop the Chicago Tribune’s ranking of Top Work Places 2011, Workplace Dynamics evaluated companies nominated by employees or customers, ultimately selecting 45 small, 35 medium and 20 large companies to be recognized as Top Work Places. The evaluation process a comprehensive employee survey of nominated companies, covering areas such as direction, execution, conditions, career, managers, and pay and benefits. Nominations, which were due by July 30, 2011, were open to all employers, including nonprofit organizations, with at least 100 workers in the greater Chicago area. More than 190 companies participated in the 2011 evaluation process.
