West Monroe Named one of Chicago Tribune's Top Workplaces 2013

West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced that it has been named one of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces 2013. The report ranked West Monroe Partners 4th among 35 midsize companies evaluated. West Monroe was one of 100 employers recognized in the annual workplace report, released November 12th, a combined effort between the Chicago Tribune and its partner, Workplace Dynamics LLC, to identify the Chicago-land area’s best places to work.

“It is a real honor to have our flagship office once again included as one of Chicago’s best companies to work for,” said Doug Armstrong, West Monroe Partners’ Managing Director and Chicago office lead. “We’ve seen substantial growth this year, expanding our local staff by 15% which equates to about 45 people. To continually be recognized by our people as a best workplace, even in times of high growth, is a testament to our people-first approach.”

Chicago is where West Monroe first put down its roots in 2002 and has since grown to 8 offices across North America. The Chicago Tribune ranking is the fifth workplace accolade the firm has received in 2013, building on the momentum from Great Place to Work & FORTUNE magazine, Consulting magazine, Vault, Seattle Business Magazine and the Inner City 100 rankings.

The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. Workplace Dynamics determined overall and specific attribute rankings by surveying employees of nominated organizations.
