West Monroe Named to Vault 2014 List of Top 50 Consulting Firms

West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that it has been named to Vault’s list of 2014 Top 50 Consulting Firms. This is the firm’s fourth consecutive appearance on the list.

West Monroe Partners ranked 37th overall among the 50 firms on the list, and placed among the top 25 consultancies in 14 individual “quality of life” categories and among the top 25 in three “diversity” categories. West Monroe earned top-10 rankings in green policies (3rd overall) and philanthropy (6th).

“Again this year, the results of the Vault survey reflect our unwavering focus on our people and our strength of culture,” said Kevin McCarty, West Monroe Partners’ president and co-founder. “Vault research mirrors our own experience that consulting firm candidates consider culture as much as or more so than practice strength, prestige and other factors when selecting an employer. We are pleased to be represented among the best firms again this year, and are even more committed to building on these areas of strength.”

West Monroe Partners earned top-25 rankings in areas ranging from culture (14th) to satisfaction (20th) to formal and informal training (19th and 23rd) to relationships with supervisors (19th).

Vault.com annually ranks consultancies using a combination of metrics – prestige, satisfaction, firm culture, compensation, work/life balance, overall business outlook and promotion policies.  The survey is open to consultants currently employed at reputable firms in the industry. When rating quality of life issues, consultants are only permitted to rate their own firm. For prestige and practice area rankings, consultants may only rate competitors and not their own firms.
