New managing directors embody West Monroe’s next-generation consulting approach through tailored, practical solutions across industries and capabilities

CHICAGO, February 27, 2025 – West Monroe, a global business and technology consulting firm, today announced the promotion of 10 individuals to managing director.

The newly promoted managing directors represent a diverse range of industries, capabilities, and geographies, reflecting West Monroe’s strategy of delivering tailored, practical solutions that accelerate value for clients. Their leadership underscores the firm’s commitment to co-creating outcomes that matter—helping clients not only solve today’s challenges but build for the future.

West Monroe promoted the following leaders to managing director: 

  • Jenna Alden, as part of Technology & Experience practice, partners with companies across industries to unlock revenue growth and operational efficiency by modernizing their technology teams, products, and customer experiences. She drives action and measurable results, helping clients adapt to AI, global workforce shifts, changing customer expectations, and competitive threats. She joined West Monroe in 2019 as part of the GoKart Labs acquisition. 
  • Eric Anderson, as part of the Energy & Utilities practice, helps utilities navigate complex grid modernization initiatives. He and his team guide utilities through Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) and operational technology transformations. He joined West Monroe in 2018. 
  • Tricia Anklan, as part of the Energy & Utilities practice, specializes in smart metering, helping major utilities modernize operations, enhance customer experience, and navigate regulatory change. She has managed over $1 billion in smart grid investments and is currently leading one of the first AMI 2.0 deployments in the United States. In 2020, Tricia was named one of Consulting’s Rising Stars of the Profession. She joined West Monroe in 2012. 
  • Tim Kocher, as head of Business Development and Partnerships within Go-To-Market, leads West Monroe’s efforts to generate new business. He also drives the firm’s strategic partnerships, collaborating with leading technology firms and specialized service providers to bring enhanced capabilities to clients. With deep expertise in sales, marketing, and customer engagement, Tim helps strengthen relationships and fuel growth. He joined West Monroe in 2016. 
  • Matt Kowske, as part of the Operations Excellence practice, helps organizations navigate complex software selection and platform strategy decisions. He has led clients through major software implementations, including ERP, workforce management, and warehouse management solutions. Matt’s knowledge of platforms allows him to guide manufacturing clients to avoid common implementation pitfalls and maximize business value. He joined West Monroe in 2015. 
  • Mike Leone, as part of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice, helps private equity clients navigate the full M&A lifecycle, from pre-transaction technology and operational due diligence to post-close integration, separation, and value-creation initiatives. He successfully delivers over 40 M&A engagements annually. He joined West Monroe in 2018. 
  • Glenn Pfenninger, as part of the Organization, People and Change practice, excels in designing innovative operating models, defining organization structures and workforce strategies, and driving culture and behavior change. He has led enterprise transformations that fueled top-line growth and optimized workforce productivity for key clients, including one of Canada’s largest grocers and a globally renowned U.S. consumer products brand. He joined West Monroe in 2019. 
  • Ben Snyder, as part of the Technology & Experience practice, guides organizations through complex customer service and contact center transformations. He oversees all aspects of strategy, operations, people, and technology implementation while working closely with leaders to enhance customer service and improve efficiency. He joined West Monroe as an intern in 2011.
  • Sydney Spataro, as the leader of the Finance group, plays a key role in West Monroe’s financial operations supporting the firm’s strategic growth. She drives financial planning and analysis, treasury support, investment decisions, and process improvements while optimizing financial systems leveraging automation. Sydney collaborates with leadership to enhance efficiency and optimize financial performance. She joined West Monroe in 2016. 
  • Kevin Wicklin, as part of the Technology & Experience practice, helps organizations streamline their sales technology throughout the entire sales lifecycle. He advises on and implements solutions that improve sales performance and customer experience. With expertise in leading major initiatives across North America, Europe, and Asia, Kevin has helped companies drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency. He joined West Monroe in 2015. 

All promotions are effective March 1, 2025.
