West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that Keith Campbell, senior manager in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and one of the leaders of its carve-out service offering, has been named one of 35 “Rising Stars of the Profession” by Consulting magazine. Campbell is recognized in the Client Service category in this inaugural ranking of top consultants under the age of 35.
Since joining West Monroe Partners in 2007, Campbell has developed specialized skills in complex mergers, acquisitions, and corporate divestitures. He has led delivery of more than 30 IT and operational due diligence and carve-out planning projects for leading private equity firms, primarily involving companies in the industrial distribution, healthcare, and oil and gas sectors. He also has led successful completion of large IT carve-out, post-merger integration, and business transformation projects and has played a central role in establishing West Monroe’s carve-out practice and capabilities.
“It is a tremendous honor to receive a Rising Stars award for Client Service,” said Campbell. “This validates the years of work and dedication that have gone into bringing distinguished merger and acquisition and carve-out solutions to the market. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to be part of building carve-out services that are now core to West Monroe Partners’ overall growth strategy.”
Campbell is an advisor to private equity clients and their targets, helping them identify risks and separation costs, develop transition services agreements, and prepare for and achieve successful separation and independent operations. He authors a blog series on corporate divestitures and has been published in ACG’s Middle Market Growth on best practices for delivering value in complex corporate carve-out transactions.
“It is no surprise that Keith has been recognized in the Client Service category – his commitment and passion for superior client delivery is what truly sets him apart. This recognition speaks volumes to the effort he has put into building his personal brand since joining West Monroe more than six years ago,” said Kevin McCarty, President of West Monroe Partners.
Campbell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds certifications in Microsoft Dynamics Trade & Logistics (MCP) and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Consulting magazine profiles Campbell and the other 34 “Rising Stars of the Profession” in its March 2014 issue. He will receive his award at an April 24 awards dinner in Chicago.
